Native American Wheel

Medicine Wheel

I was walking my Native American Medicine Wheel when I heard clippeteclopclipeteclop next to me. She was walking the wheel with me. I put my arm around her strong neck and as we walked together in silence, the Universe looked on, the human animal and the white mare walking side by side through the wheel.

The North (Earth - Winter):
North is the place of winter. Having been in action the other seasons we now rest and contemplate the lessons we have learned.

The East (Air - Spring):
Beginnings starts in the east - from where the sun rises we begin a new dawn, a new start.

The South (Fire - Summer):
The South it is the time of Summer. Maturing and growing into an adult, to be whom we are.

The West (Water - Autumn):
The time of Fall, the time of the setting sun. The daylight fades and brings a new awareness of change.
